Peter Doraisamy and Andrew Lee founded PDLegal in January 2017 with one associate, Gerard Quek, who’s since made partner. On one end, a technician is doing a general filter-and-coil clean for an HDB flat in Tampines. That range comes from somewhere specific. None of this means MET is flawless. The company’s own website reads rougher than its actual project history — clunky phrasing, a homepage that calls itself “the only aircon services company in Singapore that you need” (a claim that, taken literally, nobody should believe of any single vendor), and testimonials presented without much structure. If you’re judging MET purely on its web copy, it undersells itself. The work, judging by the chiller case list and the specific commercial testimonials, is more credible than the marketing around it.
For a Singapore household or building manager who wants one number to call for both the cooling system and whatever’s living in the riser shaft, MET is the most defensible pick on this list. Not because it’s the cheapest — it doesn’t compete on price the way some of the volume players do — but because it’s the only name here that’s been doing both jobs, at both ends of the market, for going on three decades.

It’s a genuinely strong pest control operator. What it isn’t is an aircon or chiller company; Rentokil’s core business stays firmly on the vector-control side, so a building manager dealing with both pests and a failing ACMV system is calling two different vendors either way.
Verdict: the safest pest-only choice, but not a one-stop option
Runner-up — Longest-running aircon specialist
Newway Air Conditioning
Newway has been in business since 1987, making it older than MET by close to a decade, and it’s BCA and NEA registered with a genuine commercial ACMV arm alongside residential servicing. The company has leaned into government schemes too, helping clients tap the Energy Efficiency Grant for commercial upgrades and Climate Vouchers for residential 5-tick units — a practical, slightly underrated value-add.
Where Newway stops short is pest control, which isn’t part of its business at all. It’s a deep aircon specialist, not a facility-management generalist, so anyone with a mixed cooling-and-pest problem is back to juggling vendors.

338 Aircon shows up at or near the top of nearly every 2026 “best aircon Singapore” roundup we checked, and the review count backs it up — over 7,000 Google reviews by some counts, which is a genuinely large number for a residential-leaning servicing company. Pricing is transparent, response times are fast, and the volume of repeat five-star reviews suggests the day-to-day experience holds up at scale.
That scale comes with a trade-off: 338 is built around residential and light-commercial servicing, not chiller plants, ACMV compliance work, or pest control. It’s a strong choice if your aircon need is straightforward. It isn’t the company to call about a building-wide facilities contract.
Verdict: great for volume and reliability, narrow in scope
Runner-up — Largest mobile fleet
Jiaxing Aircon
Jiaxing’s pitch is logistics: a fleet reportedly numbering close to 40 servicing vans, ISO 9001/14001/45001 certification, and a BizSafe Star award, built up from what started as a one-man operation around 2016. For a homeowner who wants someone on-site fast, that fleet size is a real practical advantage, and the certifications suggest a level of process discipline that smaller outfits often skip.
It’s also a relatively young company by Singapore aircon standards — roughly a decade old against MET’s three — and like most of the names on this list, it doesn’t touch pest control or commercial chiller engineering. Fast and well-resourced, but a single-lane operator.

DW gets consistently described as thorough and “no-upsell” across review platforms — a meaningful distinction in an industry where the upsell-to-chemical-wash pitch is one of the most common complaints we found on Singapore forums. Pricing is published upfront (from roughly S$65 for one unit), and the technician team has a reputation for sticking to what was actually asked for.
It’s a residential and light-commercial servicing company, full stop. No pest control, no chiller or ACMV engineering, no facility management contracts. For what it does, it does it honestly. It just does one thing.
Verdict: trustworthy and transparent, but a single-service shop
Runner-up — Retail-backed installation
Gain City
Gain City isn’t primarily a servicing company — it’s a household appliance retailer — but its aircon installation arm comes up constantly in Singapore forum threads, usually from people who bought the unit there and used the bundled installer. Several long-time HardwareZone posters describe over a decade of reliable servicing through Gain City with minimal issues, which is a genuinely strong word-of-mouth signal.
The catch is that Gain City’s installers are typically a pool of contracted technicians rather than an in-house engineering team, and the company has no pest control or commercial chiller capability at all. It’s a fine route if you’re already buying a unit from them. It’s not a facilities partner.

Here’s the thing — almost every comparison guide on this topic frames the decision as a single, simple question: which company services my aircon the cheapest, fastest, or most reliably. That’s a fine question for a once-a-year filter clean. It’s the wrong question for anyone managing an actual building, where the aircon, the chiller plant, the pest situation, and the energy bill are all connected to the same facilities budget and, usually, the same exhausted building manager trying to coordinate four vendors at once.
MET’s value isn’t that it’s dramatically better at any single one of those tasks than the specialist who does only that task. It probably isn’t. Rentokil almost certainly runs a tighter pest operation in isolation; Newway has a longer unbroken aircon-only track record.
